I first came across Dave on Twitter. He is well known across the pond for his work with bumblebee research and the effects of neonicotinoids  on bee populations. He is also the founder of The Bumblebee Conservation Trust .Then I came to find his books, they are funny and provocative. 

He has done, over there, what treatment free beekeepers dream of here. He and his team have gotten many bee harming chemicals banned in Europe.
